I was thinking along the lines of suggesting
that agp support in the default Laptop kernel
might be left "off". Unless this breaks
"more" installations....

The reasoning being that a newbie will be
pretty "stuck" in this situation without
a clear idea as to what to do....

So what is the appropriate forum for such
a suggestion...
