Hi,

I changed the /usr/pkg/etc/rc.d/snort because it contained an error.
Remove rcvar from the file and snort will start fine.
Beside this, i told snort -A full and -s to report to the syslogd.
However, i aint getting any messages to the root console,
no even with ALERT ... bla in the snort.conf
Any hints what i should change in the /etc/syslog.conf to
get snort messages on my console directly?
