Was it the NetBSD or Solaris bootblk you installed?

I've just recently put NetBSD-current and Solaris 9 on one disk - it
works fine (and you can share the swap partition), as long as you
don't make any label changes with NetBSD's disklabel(8). See
port-sparc64/20277.
