Hi Perry, thanks for the offer on helping me debug. As I am a novice, it 
is appreciated very much. I'm really looking for more general answers to 
this issue. Everything I have read thus far, and responces from other 
mailing lists, have told me that this issue is not a simple one. I would 
like to know if anyone has a general overview on the problems with 
attempting this, cross-compiling NetBSD 1.6 from Cygwin. Also, is anyone 
else attempting this now.

As I have an interest in this, it would be nice not to spend the time 
duplicating someone else's work, if it is being done.
