Perhaps I misunderstood your intent. [it wouldn't be the first time] 

I've switched all my servers over to serial consoles. Once you do that, some
combination of screen, tits, rtty, etc... can save all your console output to
a file. Once you are in ddb on a normal console, I believe pencil and paper
are your only options, at least on i386. I'd be happy if I was wrong about
this. I'm not an expert on ddb.
