   I`ve   never   seen  a  Courier MTA as a part of *nix distribution.
Traditionally  courier  is  an imap+pop3 server and is frequently with
sendmail  and  postfix. MTA module is rather new and many distributors
doesn`t include this(perhaps unstable) in their stable products.
