I'm running 1.6 STABLE (on i386 as usual) and to my astonishment
I find that syslogd fails to start on boot. I can start syslogd
by typing /etc/rc.d/syslogd start without any apparent problems.
The same applies for /usr/sbin/named. I can start it from rc.d
but it fails to run from boot.

I have accounting=YES in rc.conf if that makes any difference.
