Hello everyone,

>make:
>exec(/usr/src/tools/obj/tools.NetBSD-1.6_STABLE-i386/bin/nbyacc)
>failed (No such file or directory)
>*** Error code 1

This appears to be a 'no sh*t, Sherlock' moment. One of the recent
advisories required rebuilding the kernel. After this, the '_STABLE'
text apparently got added to the directory name for the toolchain. I
did have the tools.NetBSD-1.6-i386 directory, I just didn't rebuild
my toolchain after upgrading the kernel. Stupid mistake. First
problem solved. After rebuilding the toolchain, the SA's apply
cleanly.

The second part of my questions is still there though. Is doing 'make
obj' and building the toolchain enough to apply the instructions of
the SA's to the CVS tree?

Sorry for any inconvenience. Apparently, I went browsing using
filename completion.

Greets,

Rogier
