I am running 1.6 on Dell CPi R400GT.

dmesg shows

But I don't get any sound at all. On KDE I checked the
volume levels etc. using KMix and everything seems to 
be fine. On occasion I hear the pop sound from the speaker
with file completion in tcsh. Then I would get the
"Sound Server Fatal Error - CPU Overload" message.

Could anyone tell me what the problem is and how I 
can fix it??
