In your directory, but not in cvs repository. You may want to use object
directories instead.

See http://www.netbsd.org/Documentation/current/ and search for that same
error message. It says:
You will have to use objdirs in order for cvs updates to work
correctly. ... you should do a "make cleandir" and try again. Make
sure to run "make obj" after the cvs update.
