Hi,

When you enable pmthu-d and it fails cause of some
black hole router somewhere on it's path,
is there a variable to set so that
a new tcp packet is send out with a lower mtu cause of a timeout
which occured when there is no icmp received and then
when another timeout occurs the mtu is decreased again etc?
I'm taling about rfc 2923.

I encoutered several problems with pmtu-d, of course also
due to lame configured firewalls.
Bye,

Mipam.
