[ Sorry for the snapped previous message; the price of running
on Windoze 2000 ]
I am having trouble with the following:
* The system panics in ffs. Either in /tmp or /usr/obj
when ffs_blkfree is called.
The panic is either ``freeing free frag''
or ``block -2: invalid block id''
* When buillding the system via build.sh, nbmake blows up:
nbmake: don't know how to make <built-in>
This appears to be the result of make depend.
* The X server (XFree86, version 4.2.0) does not restore
the video mode of the consoles. Neither on exit nor on
ctl-alt-F1
Sometimes the video mode will restore, but with the font in
such dark black/green that it appears invisible. At other
times the monitor does not even click into another video.
The keyboard appears to be alive and switching correctly.
Thanx for any help or light upon my ignorance.
Sincerely,
Simon Shapiro, CEO
