Hi Folks.

I bought a new (sealed retail pkg) USR 56k V.Everything ISA pnp modem 
for a pittance at auction but it's not supported.

I tried the instructions at:

but the device is still not recognised. Is there anything else I can try?
The machine's bios is set to use pnp for all devices/IRQs/resources and
the jumpers on the modem are set for pnp. I'm running a 1.6 Beta kernel.
