I use

/usr/pkg/sbin/pptp 10.0.0.138 file /etc/ppp/options.adsl

in /etc/rc.local as the command to start ADSL. My /etc/ppp/options.adsl is:

noauth
defaultroute
user myusername@myadslblah
persist
