Not that this is going to help much, but I've got a Sony laptop (FXA47
if I recall correctly) running a fairly recent (April) snapshot of -current
(using the GENERIC_LAPTOP kernel) that has the same problem with
the builtin realtek interface, and also some problems with a DLink
802.11 card that works dandy on another laptop.

I haven't spent any time at all debugging it yet, but thought folks
would like to know...
