I use a Handspring Visor Edge, and I've been quite happy with the
"jpilot" package (and pilot-link, for fetching stuff that jpilot
doesn't know about).

I currently use serial, since I have had some problems with the USB
interface under NetBSD.  But I haven't tried it for quite a while.
