actually..i have no problem with 1.5.2 but 1.5.3RC1 acts like that...
are u using on your routers..external dns...or  it acts both..dns server and
router?
its very hard to trac this problem...im using bind 9.1.0 as dns
server...maybe its time to got djbdns:)
