Yes, I've got tons of problems with DAT or hexabytes, especially trying
to read back old tapes, or tapes written by a different drive.
After 4 years of use one of my DLT needed his head to be remplaced (which may
be related to a too high use of cleaning tape), but other than that
I never got problems with them.
