do you have this in your /etc/ld.so.conf ?

/usr/X11R6/lib

you at least need that.
see mine

/usr/local/lib
/usr/pkg/lib
/usr/X11R6/lib
/usr/X11R6/qt2/lib

try that and run ldconfig
hope it will work
