From where I'm sitting, you don't want DLT. I support
a very tape intensive product, and DLT isn't up to it.
Never was. I'm not sure about DDS4, but it's probably
a viable option. It's not as fast I think. But I do
know that DLT gets far more write errors than any of
the other stuff I deal with on a regular basis (STK,
IBM, LTO).
