The problem is exactly that-- wishing doesn't make it so. =20

If people genuinely care, then (IMHO) they should *do* something about
it, rather than just wishing that the world would "wisen up".  Then,
either they'd learn why things are the way they are (maybe there's a
good reason why HTML mail is distributed by netbsd.org), or change the
system to suit your tastes.  If it turns out that it's not the taste of
many on the list, then it's STILL a win because you can either educate
them, or they can educate you.  Win-win scenario; all it costs is
initiative, creativity, and effort. =20

Personally, I don't much care, for a variety of reasons that are most
likely obvious.  :-)
