(I changed the subject, since PDF doesn't have much to do with it. (^&)
I've been bit by that, myself. When it hits me, I've been too
lazy/preoccupied to try to fix it, so instead I just use the ``-s'' option
to lpr. (This probably wouldn't help if I were printing over my LAN,
though, so it's not a real solution.)
BTW, does the lpr ``-r'' option work for anyone? I don't often want it,
but sometimes I do; it's never worked for me when I've tried it.
