I was trying to install release 1.5.2 and yes it works now with release
1.5.3 RC1.

I've just installed NetBSD on a PowerEdge 1650 here. What version
are you using? I used a 1.5.3_RC1 snapshot.
I've attached a dmesg from a custom '1.5.3' kernel (that is
the netbsd-1-5 tree, which is close, but not exactly the same
as what will be released as 1.5.3)
