I'm a newbie with NetBSD, so please excuse any dumb questions.

I'm trying to get an old EISA DAC960-1/2 raid controller working under
NetBSD 1.5.3_RC1. I noticed that this particular model isn't listed in
mlx.c as part of mlx_cname, but it's EISA identifier, MLX0073 is listed in
eisadevs and mlx_eisa.c.

dmesg properly identifies it as a Mylex DAC960 at eisa0 slot1, but then
says that it's not configured - nothing about IRQs, etc. I realize that
that means either there's no driver or it hasn't been compiled into the
kernel. According to the generic conf file, the driver has been compiled
in. Is there a command that I can use to confirm that?

The DAC960 identifies itself as MLX00073 and is configured in the EISA
configuration at irq15 edge-triggered and Bios at 0x0D4000. I also tried
it with the bios disabled. There was no change in NetBSD's bootup. With
the bios enabled, it works properly under DOS. It's running Bios version
1.19 and firmware version 2.14 - both are the most recent for this card.

I'm using the March 12, 2002 snapshot for 1.5.3_RC1.

I'm running (crawling?) on an AMD 586/133 with 64M of RAM. NetBSD is on a
SCSI drive that's not on the DAC960 - it's on an Adaptec 2740
controller. The drive is configured as a dual-boot system with Win95.

Am I missing an obvious step somewhere? Can anyone help me get this raid
controller working?

TIA,
Ed
