Hello good people!

I am having some problems trying to install KDE2 and
GNOME, figured I would give it a try based on the
other thread here "GUI".

When I try to make these programs I get following
error messages (this first one after over 3 hours
compiling arrrg!!)

Anyone got any pointers? Can this be hardware related?
The default window thingy (that appears after typing
startx without installing anything) worked after I had
struggled for a few days with getting X to work with
my unknown hardware.
