Just don't worry. First because I'm just a student, not a unix
specialist/consultant yet, and we're on this mailing to offer/ask for
free support (you may consider this support a kind of "we know it's not
easy, so we'll give you some tips. But RTFM anyway :D") from
enthusiastic people who believe that software is much more than people
usually think. If this was not true, there would be no free and great
software like NetBSD.
Also, I'm much more than 5 hours away from there, and those things
would be complicated, so don't worry. I'm just happy as you and your
company are netbsd users. :D

Well, as you see it was a simple issue. It's good to have a mailing
list to ask for support because you can rely on other people experience.
Also, they may need yours too. When I was stuck with a server which dns
server was not up (I thought it was a problem with network card/cfg or
with the switches), I would never think about DNS 'cause it used a
telco's DNS (supposed to be stable), I got an answer in about 10
seconds. I really don't believe I could have such a ready and precise
answer from a tech support :D
