Hi,
I am trying to add a partition and received many valuable info regarding how
to do it. I did as instructed:
disklabel -e wd0
and the vi editor show up with partition info.
I've added new partition by editing the vi file and saved it. But, it saves
the modified file in /tmp directory but not actually modifing the disk
partition. Do I need to replace the modified file that was created and saved
in /tmp with the system file that has disk partition info? If so, which file
is it that needs to be replaced with the one generated in /tmp?
When I do,
disklabel -e wd0,
a vi file opens and at very top, it has:
#/dev/rwd0d
Is this the file (/dev/rwd0d) that needs to be replace with the one created in
/tmp? If so, how do I do that?
Thank you.
Yours sincerely,
