I've got a wi0 wireless ethernet card working nicely with my i386
NetBSD 1.5.1 laptop.
Now I'm trying to get /etc/ifconfig.wi0 set up correctly so that I can
put the card into power save mode etc. automatically on boot up.
Here is the contents of /etc/ifconfig.wi0:
up
# set port type to BSS mode
!/usr/sbin/wiconfig $int -p 1
# set power save mode on
!/usr/sbin/wiconfig $int -P 1
# set media type with ifconfig option
media DS11
# automatically grab an IP address
!/sbin/dhclient $int
But I get a message something like this on startup:
eval: /usr/sbin/wiconfig: not found
And the code does not end up on power save mode. Maybe /usr is not
available when these commands run?
I've carefully read the ifconfig.if man page, and I think that I've
gotten the format right. Am I doing something obvious wrong, or is
there some other way for me approach the problem?
Thanks
-russ
