Hi :)
I'm trying to configure NetBSD 1.5.2 on a IBM thinkpad 380xd (and I'm doing
a little HOWTO about this).
All the installation process was, as usual, the best I ever seen on a *BSD.
Problems came with an old PCMCIA ethernet card (LevelOne FPC-0100tx).

I got rid of pcmcia IRQ problems (I think) putting the card on only after
the first reboot. The os saw it as "Linksys Etherfast DL10019" and called
it ne0, but when I ran ifconfig I got the card "UP" and "RUNNING" with
media "Ethernet manual"; trying to use the card, I always got a "device
timeout" (and adapter's leds are always off).
"man ne" doesn't say much about media settings.

Where is the problem? and where I must go to find a doc about this?
Thanks in advance :)
Giacomo
