I've got my NetBSD-1.5.2 /etc/wscons.conf & /etc/ttys & /etc/rc.conf
settings
more or less matching what's stipulated in the User Guide and the FAQ,
however
the [Alt]+[Cntrl]+[F1-4] keyboard commands just produce ascii jiberish. For
example, [Alt]+[Cntrl]+[F1] => "^[[11~"  . I did notice that the file
/etc/rc.wscons referenced in the User guide & FAQ doesn't exist in -current:
I just assumed it was renamed to /etc/wscons.conf.

Here's my relevant config file entries:

#/etc/rc.conf:
wscons=YES

#/etc/wscons.conf:
font  ibm ....
screen 1- 4 are set to 80x50  & vt100
encoding us
mux1

#/etc/ttys:
ttyE0 - ttyE3 are "on" ; getty set to "/usr/libexec/getty std.9600" ; pc3
set to "vt220"

Doing a "dmesg | egrep ^ws" produces

wsdisplay0 at vga1: console (80x25, vt100 emulation)
wskbd0 at pckbd0: console keyboard, using wsdisplay0
wsdisplay0: screen 1 added (80x25, vt100 emulation)
wsdisplay0: screen 2 added (80x25, vt100 emulation)
wsdisplay0: screen 3 added (80x25, vt100 emulation)
wsdisplay0: screen 4 added (80x25, vt100 emulation)
wsmux1: connecting to wsdisplay0

Any ideas? I was thinking maybe I need to do some sort of additional
keymapping, no?
