Thanks, that did seem to help.

Plus, I noticed a problem with the ftp site for xpm, where is says:

URLs of the form ftp://koala.inria.fr/XXX are now http://koala.ilog.fr/ftp/XXX

I suppose the Makefile needs to be updated.
