Yes, I've been meaning to say, but I haven't had a chance
to get back to this problem, that I tried the v8 binary and it
exhibited the same bug. Ran for a while before freeze.
That is v7 and v8 both have trouble on 1.5 old and pure.
So I was going to ask do I have to upgrade to 1.5.1 or something
to get v7 or v8 to run?

Pity if I do. One of the reasons I moved to NetBSD was that
I got so tired of having to upgrade my whole operating system,
ports tree and pkg in order to get one new little app to work.

I have actually been thinking of running a Linux box in the last
couple of days to be able service certian apps better!!:))).

Paul.
