My last email as below the line.Thank you for your suggestion but my bsd
box still don't work.
Here some additive details:
*************
I would like to tell about my configuration after installation NetBSD
1.5.1.
1. I created file /etc/ifconfig.ep0 that contain line
     inet 192.168.1.1 netmask 0xffffff00
2. Edit /etc/rc.conf add following line
    auto_ifconfig=YES
after this step I run /etc/rc.d/network restart
it show like this
....
....
/etc/rc.d/network: WARNING :$hostname not set

=> How to solve this warning.?
....
....
3. I add sysctl -w net.inet.ip.forwarding=1
in /etc/rc.local and reboot (shutdown -r now) the box.

4. after step 3 I test the box by call "tcpdump -nv -i ep0" command
it show "tcpdump: listening on ep0"
     and ping 192.168.1.1 from windows98
no any response from netbsd box I press Ctrl-c
     it show
     "0 packets recieved by filter"
     "0 packets dropped by kernel"

4. My 3C509 network card use IRQ 3 when I test
    with "vmstat -i" it show
    interrupt total rate
    ....
    ....
    irq3 1 0
    ....
    ....
althought I ping from win98 to it again the number from this command not
change.

    5. I test with "netstat -in" it show like this
        Name Mtu Network Address Ipkts

6. I test with "ping 192.168.1.1 - from win98 the result is
     Request time out.
and if I ping from bsd box to win98 machine it show
     ping: sendto: Host is down

I think this detail will tell you to focus the problem on my box .I want to
know some thing too such as
how to make NUMLOCK on automatically when boot the system. How to install
package from i386pkg1 disc
(such as bash-2.04.tgz). Thank you very much for your suggestion. Please
help me again.

Thank you.
