I have a number of systems running NetBSD 1.3.2, NetBSD 1.4.2, and NetBSD 1.5.1, Solaris 8, OSF, and soon win2k and would like to try and have a central password, group, access rights server set up.   From a quick reading it seems NIS/yp or Kerberos are the tools available for this?

Are there any tutorials or how-tos available on these?  I am not quite sure where to start.  Is there a better way to do this?
