NetBSD doesn't do SMP yet as far as I know, but some
people are working on it. I think it is supposed to be
included in the 1.6 release.

You just need to boot from a floppy or a cd.
You also need to know where the sets are in the ftp.
so if you want to install NetBSD 1.5.1 for an i386,
the path would be
/pub/NetBSD/NetBSD-1.5.1/i386/binary/sets.
