I'm getting some strange errors on an install of Squirrelmail/php/apache
under 1.5.1/Alpha. It's a very fresh install, pkgsrc from -current, no
other strange configs.
I did a 'make install' in the apache dir, and got what seems to be a
working install of apache 1.x.x.
I did a 'make install' in the squirrelmail dir, and things seemed to be
fine.
I added the squirrelmail.conf to my httpd.conf, along with the two
"AddType" and "Action" lines to enable php processing.
What I get when I try to view squirrelmail's index.php file looks like a
core dump. Very strange.
I can run php (http://myserver/cgi-bin/php?index.php) and it properly
complains that you can't invoke it directly. I can run 'php index.php'
and get results, no problem - it all looks intelligible. But when I
invoke via cgi-bin, it seems to dump on me.
When I invoke it, php appears to run for about 15 seconds, consuming mass
cpu, then dies.
Is this a php strangeness, a configuration strangeness, something
particular to alpha (word/long sizes? 64-bit?), or have I pulled a dumb?
Many thanks.

Jon
