You need to get to the point where it tries to create the filesystems,
with newfs failing. Before that the new disklabel isn't created.

Then exit sysinst, run 'disklabel ld0' to check that your partitions are
here. Then 'disklanel -i ld0' to change the geometry. Don't forget to
use 'W' to save your changes !
Then disklabel ld0 to chech that your changes were saved.
Now you can restart sysinst.

BTW, are you installing 1.5 or 1.5.1 ? I'm not sure this will work with
the 1.5 sysinst.
