Okay, I did this - I set up the partitions (using custom) then changed the geometry, then ran sysinst
again, however... it doesn't save the partitions. All I have if i accept the defaults is one huge
drive. No partitions at all.. i quit sysinst at this point (cos i accepted the defaults then hit
okay... and moved onto the next step) - and checked disklabel to see if the partitions were there and
what the numbers were set to and there were no partitions and all the numbers had been set back to the
originals.

Here are our numbers: ( we reduced 2 different times)
tracks/sec - 63 reduced to 21 (/3) and 9 (/7) - respectively
tracks/cyl - 255 (left unchanged)
sec/cyl - 16065 reduced to 5355 and 2295 respectively
cyl - 14608  increased to 43828 and 102256

What the heck is going on?? :-)
