Yes - I just had the chance to try it from an NT machine, and I couldn't
reproduce it from there.

It seems unlikely that ftp under Windows Me is broken, tho.  I guess
anything's possible in Bill's world ;-)

Thankfully, it seems that NT's ftp.exe works okay under Me, so that's my
solution for now.
