Maybe there are not many NCR 5380 SCSI cards still in use? Might that be why
FreeBSD and OpenBSD don't support this chip and Linux support is unstable?
I still am not sure if the old Texel CD-ROM would read NetBSD CDs even with the
proper SCSI support, an issue of compatibliity of newer CDs with old CD-ROM
drives. Maybe some CDs but not others? If I want to preview NetBSD 1.5.1 on
this old computer, I could possibly do a DOS-based scripted FTP download with
56K modem; currently running DR-DOS 7.03.
