Hey, I'm getting there! It now shows up in the Chooser on the 9500! 
If I select it, it gives the usual login dialog, but it wants a 
password, & I have no idea what to use or where to put the password 
on the NetBSD computer.

(If the TCP/IP Control Panel on the 9500 has accidentally been left 
on PPP instead of Ethernet, it tries to dial up my ISP!)
