Hi, I'm trying to install NetBSD into a 100 MB partition on a 486 laptop.
I want to do a net install, and I've plugged in to the PCMCIA socket a
Netgear FA 410TX.
Using the bootlap1.fs and bootlap2.fs floppies; It recognizes the Netgear
as "ne0" RealTek 8019 ne2000 card, gives the MAC address, looks fine.
When choosing "ftp install" though it asks me for the media for ne0; I tried
"100TX" and a bunch of other things, but sysinst is never able to even
ping my nameserver or gateway.
Do I need to do something special to get the Netgear FA 410tx recognized?
Or do I need some specific media setting?
Thanks! -Mike
p.s. Is it possible to do an install into only 100 MB disk from sysinst?
FWIW, this is 1.5.1_BETA2
I'd like to have base, compiler, man pages at least.
