Greetings,

I've been digging through the package help and the list archives to 
no avail.  I am trying to set ./configure switches when compiling a 
package.  For example, I want to turn on perl regular expressions in 
PHP4.

Normally, the configure line would be:

./configure --with-pcre-regex

But, I can't find a way to pass in the --with-pcre-regex switch into 
the package/make system.  Anyone have any ideas?
