    Hi there.

My fxp0 device has IP xxx.xxx.xxx.9, and I put the aliases:
yyy.yyy.yyy.1 and xxx.xxx.xxx.8.
With xxx.xxx.xxx.9 and yyy.yyy.yyy.1 it works ok, I can ping and
access their services. But when I try to access a web service (vhost)
running with xxx.xxx.xxx.8, it doesn't work locally. (IE, from other
machines in the network its ok, pings and opens connection).

    I tried to use arp -s xxx.xxx.xxx.8 ether:addr: ... but it didn't
work..
The problem is that I have a proxy running in that machine, and
people who use it can't access the service in xxx.xxx.xxx.8 alias.
(can't have name based vhost - political problems)

Any tip? ping says: ping: sendto: Host is down

    Ricardo.
