I have attempted to install NetBSD onto a dual pentium computer with an
internal scsi interface.
I have tried several different hard drives with the same results.
the installation proceeds normally until it's time to re-boot
after re-booting the screen shows invalid partition table and halts
The pci scsi bios identifies the following devices
PCI SCSI BIOS
ID00 Connor CFP1080S
ID05 Toshiba CD-ROM XM-3601TA
ID06 Archive Viper 150 21531
the connor hard drive is the latest, but I have tried several others with
the same results.
all of the hard drives will format and boot correctly under ms-dos 6.22
I was hoping you might offer a suggestion or two.
PS
The only reason I am trying to build this machine is to transfer the
Motorola 68K files from the CD-ROM to the tape.
I am trying to install NetBSD onto a Motorola MVME-167 or 177 processor
which won't boot from a CD-ROM
