Hi Folks,
I've upgraded my hardware at home to an intel 410T standalone swtich (10/100
half/full duplex + flow control), and three 10/100 Mbps cards for the only
three machines. The highest ftp transfer rate I can get is 1.62 MB/s. This is
only just above the upper limit for a 10Mbps network (1.25MB/s) and I would
have thought well below the packet/application overhead on the 100Mbps media.
The cards are an intel desktop 100B (fxp), a Xircom CreditCard 10/100(xi0)
and a dlink 530 something or other(vr0). I have 100 Mpbs, full duplex forced
on the switch and all cards plus flow control on the switch. I use the
network to regularily backup my daily work which is in the order of 10's of
meg hence I'd really like to get a bit more out of my transfer rate. Can
anyone suggest something to increase my thoughput? Or know of issues with any
of these drivers?

Regards,
	Murray Armfield.
