Has anyone experimented with the newer, cheaper gigabit cards
available? There are a bunch of newer cards (Addtron, SMC, 3COM), and
all are in the low $120 dollar range, but I'm worried about performance
and compatibility w/NetBSD.
I know the Netgear GA620 works well w/NetBSD, but what about the GA622?
FWIW, I read on Netgear's site that the chip used isn't a tigon, but a
National chip (it didn't mention any p/n's). I couldn't find squat about
the Addtron, SMC, and 3COM, tho someone with a bit more patience for
gratuitously graphical web pages might get further than I :-(
tia.
