I have a 1.4.2 installation. Now asuming I can get a driver for my
Linksys AN985 what is the compile process needed for my system? Where
do I add it? Where do I put other drivers for device I wish to
include? Where are the commands attach the drivers? Any advice or
pointers would be appreciated.

Also. 
While the Linksys network card is 'not configured' my modem,
which is a Zyxel 1496 isa card device is impossible to access. Or
perhaps I'm impossible?
 
I'm trying to see if its there with cu -p modem dir but I've tried
tty02, ttyp2, and ttyq2 and am unable to find/talk to it.

Should not tty02 refer to com2 port 0x3e8 irq5?
