Hi,
I have a need to get a cd writer working on a system. In my posession I
have an Acer CRW8432IA 8x4x32 writer.
I'm using the latest cdrecord that is in pkgsrc, and I have also tried
xcdroast, under ths assumption that I'm screwing up the command line and
the GUI will at least do The Right Thing.
So far I have been unable to write a disk, although the unit writes disks
perfectly well in windows, and I have been able to read and mount disks
perfectly well from it under netbsd.
I am running netbsd 1.5 release, with the latest kernel syssrc.tar.gz, on
i386.
Any help or experiences recounted gratefully received.
Please Cc: me as I'm not subbed to this list.
Cheers,
Al
