Okay, thanks ... i replaced these entires at mailer.conf
just as described and was needed to do in thee 1.4 series of netbsd.
However, two entries:
hoststat
purgestat
I outcommented them, is that okay?
Furthermore i had been deleting the /var/spool/postfix dir entirely
and made it again i gave it: dwrx------ 13 postfix wheel owner ship
and rights. After that, the postfix script created all the underlyaing
dirs again. However, i am getting warnings now when starting postfix:
/var/spool/postfix not owned by root.
When using sendmail in mailer.conf its no problem, but when i use
/usr/libexec/postfix instead, problems arive, cause it has no rights
to cd to /var/spool/postfix.
In main.cf from the postfix file i have mail_owner = postfix
and i didnt fill in the mail_privilige field.
I cant be the postfix account as specified in mail_owner .. so ,..
what should i use best for that?
Secondly, why should own (user, group) the /var/spool/postfix dir and
what chmod values should i give that dir?
Bye,
Mipam.
